“If you are what you should be, you’ll set the world on fire.”-St. Catherine of Siena

That’s what I’m trying to do: set the world on fire, through living out God’s plan for my life, not mine. That’s harder than it sounds, and I am completely aware that I am not perfect. But through this blog, I am trying to put some inspiration out there. Nobody will ever listen to me if I don’t say anything, right?

So, I’m saying something. First of all, some thanks to people in my life: my mother Emerald, who helped me put this thing together, and smooth out some of the technical difficulties. My dad Roger and my siblings Moses, Elias, Justice, George, and Wolfgang, for being there to inspire me and make me laugh. My youth pastor Bryce and his wife Lindsay, for being such amazing, inspirational people. My grandmother Becki, for encouraging me to start this blog in the first place. And all of my amazing friends (Lorenzo, Virginia, Alex, Lindsey, Braden, etc.) for just being there when I need you most.

Now some things about myself. I am homeschooled, and spend most of my time reading, writing, drawing, and listening to music. My favorite things to read are pretty much anything by J.R.R. Tolkein, C.S. Lewis, or William Shakespeare. I like to write fantasy/fiction and poetry, some of which I intend to post. I like to draw people. My favorite bands are Matisyahu, Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire, and I like a lot of soundtrack music (Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Les Miserables but that’s a different story). I also watch a lot of movies, and my favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Rise of the Guardians, the Hobbit, Les Miserables, Napoleon Dynamite, Benny and Joon…the list goes on and on, so I won’t bore you.

I live in rural Montana, and, since I’m homeschooled, I don’t get out much. I do go to an amazing Youth Group (headed by Bryce and Lindsay), and that is something I wouldn’t give up for the world.

So yeah, this blog is supposed to be just a bunch of random inspiration. I hope you enjoy it!
